The Legend of Zelda trilogy

Created by game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka inspired by Shigeru's memory of his childhood exploring forests and caves, this game series stands out as one of the most iconic nintendo game series of all time and remains as a fragment of sweet gaming memories of many 90's kids out there. As one of those 90's kids, here are my personal top zelda games i've enjoyed in the past.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time

Ocarina of time is arguably the most famous zelda game out there and it was recently remaked with better graphics and extra features into the nintendo 3DS.

I loved this game mainly because it happens to be my first zelda game. it introduced to me what a zelda game is like. It has a good story-line which can get dark sometimes and a simple gameplay.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Similar to Ocarina of time, this game is also one of the most loved zelda games out there and it was also remaked for the 3DS.

This game has a darker storyline than ocarina of time which i personally enjoy. The falling moon, Skullkid, even the mask salesman in this game used to scare me as a kid.

It introduced many new features that Ocarina of time doesn't have such as the masks and the system which you only have 3 days within the game and being able to use the ocarina to travel back in time to the first day.

3. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

I loved this game for its different artwork which makes it more colorful and cheery. Oh and because you can sail. And the remake of this game on the nintendo wiiU just enhance everything i love about this game. Though i've never played it on the wiiU, based on what i've seen it looked amazing.

4. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Though it may not be as highly rated as ocarina of time or majora's mask, this game is probably my favouite zelda game.

The artwork looks amazing, the soundtrack is awesome, midna is awesome as link's companion, you can transform into a wolf, the bosses looks really cool and  the story-line get really dark and sometime mildly violent which other Zelda games don't show often.

It introduced features such as being able to turn into a wolf and fighting while riding a horse.

5. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Skyward sword is a beautiful Zelda game, kinda like wind waker in graphic wise except with the adult Link.

i loved this game because this game does have beautiful colors and has a different but very enjoyable gameplay.

I'm not a big fan of Fi sounding like an auto-tuned siri though but its not that much of a bother.

The game adds features such as being able to ride large birds called loftwings and using the wii remote with motion plus to slice the sword in certain ways.
